Apprentice Electrician
We’re looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join the ElitePEM team in a full-time role, supporting our electricians across a mix of commercial and residential work. This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical experience, learn the trade properly, and develop your skills in a team that values safety, quality, and accountability.
This role suits someone who is reliable, switched on, and genuinely keen to learn. No prior experience is required, but a strong attitude, willingness to listen, and readiness to work hard will go a long way. You’ll be supported by experienced tradespeople and given the chance to grow within a business that values doing things properly from day one.
- Supporting qualified electricians across commercial and residential jobs
- Assisting with installations, maintenance, repairs, and general electrical tasks
- Learning safe work practices and following directions on site
- Helping keep work areas organised, tidy, and professional
- Using tools, materials, and equipment correctly under supervision
- Communicating respectfully with team members, clients, and site contacts
- Building your skills and trade knowledge through day-to-day hands-on work
- A genuine interest in becoming an electrician
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to safety and doing the job properly
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Driver’s licence preferred, but not essential
